Savannah is one of America's most beautiful cities that looks enchanting during winter holidays. There will be thousands of lights and decorations transforming the downtown.  Mild winter temperatures will allow you to see it all. Be sure to check out the huge tree at the corner of Bull and Broughton streets: a 50-ft-tall Christmas tree adorned by 20,000 lights.


(Accommodations: Riverview rooms located in a beautifully restored, historic, 200-year-old cotton warehouse in the Historic District overlooking the Savannah River)

ITINERARY:
Day 1:  After stopping at Lane Southern Orchards @ Ft. Valley, GA for a lunch break or a snack, we will travel on to our hotel located in the Savannah historic district.  After check in - tonight we will enjoy a 2 hour steamboat cruise featuring a festive holiday dinner along the Savannah River. Enjoy listening to local Savannah Gospel entertainers while enjoying the savory dinner flavors of the South. (dinner included)

Day 2: This is your day to see all you wish of Savannah.  You will receive a Hop On Hop Off Old Town Trolley ticket that is good for the entire day.  Start off with the “narrated” tour and then discover as much of Savannah as you wish.  Each trolly stop is located near points of interest like Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, Juliet Gordon Lowe Home, unique shops, boutiques, and restaurants. 

Four blocks of the Historic Landmark District have been renovated to capture the authentic atmosphere of the City old open market place  Stroll through park squares or explore museums, monuments, restored 18th-century homes. Take time to visit River Street where you will find boutiques and galleries and restaurant housed in old cotton warehouses. 

Day 3:  Before heading home, we’ll make a visit to the Tybee Island Lighthouse Station & Museum. The tower stands 145 tall and is one of seven surviving colonial era lighthouse tower. A tour of the lighthouse also includes a climb to the top if you wish. (included)
